Healthcare Providers at Jersey Community Hospital and Illini Medical Associates Combine to Create JCH Medical Group

As of January 1, the healthcare providers at Jersey Community Hospital (JCH) and Illini Medical Associates, SC (IMA) have combined to create the JCH Medical Group.

JCH CEO Jon Wade said, “While JCH and IMA have had longstanding track records of success separately, the staff is now stronger as one practice – JCH Medical Group. The goal of this new group is to deliver the highest quality, seamless and safest patient care possible by offering a broad spectrum of quality healthcare providers and specialties that are affiliated with the hospital. With the integration of JCH Medical Group, Jersey Community Hospital is also now the largest employer in the tri-county area with more than 400 employees.”

The hospital name will remain the same as Jersey Community Hospital while primary and some specialty physician services will be provided through JCH Medical Group.

Integrated for Greater Service
JCH Medical Group serves several counties, with 10 clinics in seven cities (Alton, Carlinville, Carrollton, Hardin, Jacksonville, Jerseyville and Roodhouse). The group consists of 36 providers: 23 physicians and 13 mid-level providers. Specialties include: family practice, general surgery, internal medicine, OB/GYN, orthopedic, pediatrics, psychiatry-adult, and pulmonary care.
