Read all about it! Don’t miss your chance to get exciting recipes and discover new fall flavors to savor. The Jersey Community Hospital Auxiliary is excited about the arrival of its new cookbook which features 750 recipes gathered from hospital employees, volunteers, physicians, board members and retired JCH employees.
As the second edition complied by the Auxiliary and the 5th hospital cookbook to be printed, this captivating new read is currently for sale in the hospital gift shop for $15. The cookbook project was undertaken as a means of completing the Auxiliary pledge of $100,000 to the ER+ expansion project.
Enticing the eye and the palate, the cookbook features a colorful sketch of our newly expanded gift shop on the front cover and a picture of the enlarged Emergency Department on the back. Besides so many great recipes, the book also features some hospital history along with a section of cooking and nutritional tips.
We would like to extend a very sincere “thank you” to the cookbook committee which consisted of Dinah Breitweiser, Peggy Fessler and Wanda St. Peters. We hope everyone enjoys the many wonderful recipes and seeing all the names of their friends and co-workers in this book. In addition, we’d like to thank Raechel Jones for the beautiful cover illustration.
